I began practicing yoga in 1998 as a way to deal with stress.
YOGA IS GOOD FOR THAT RIGHT?
It is! But it wasn’t! (Therapy took care of that though so no worries.)
Once I made my way back into a studio I was finally able to connect the dots between breath, movement, and meditation and I was smitten, finally making it official by becoming a yoga teacher in 2015.

Kirtan Kriya - or SaTaNaMa - is an ancient meditation practice from the Kundalini lineage. Mantra, mudra, and visualization combine to create a deep state of inner peace. What we now know is that SaTaNaMa also increases cerebral blood flow to areas of the brain responsible for memory retention and retrieval. It's an exciting revelation in a time-honored practice. Come for the meditation, stay for the science.
